A Part-time Executive Director has been selected for the Adminstration and Facilities Management for Norwood Park and Recreation District. Liza Tanguay, who spent more than 4 years on the Board of Directors, will be filling this role.

She joins part-time staffer Daiva Chesonis, the Programs and Events Manager, in serving the District and pursuing the mission of providing year-round recreational and arts opportunities for Norwood and surrounding areas.

Ms. Tanguay's stepping down from the Board leaves a Director seat vacant. Any interested persons wishing to become a Director can submit a "self-nomination form" (as posted for the 2025 election season) or attend the regular monthly meeting held the 2nd Monday of the month, in the Oliver House, 1555 Summit Street, Norwood.
